The Hotel de Posthoorn is a very pleasant and comfortable family run hotel with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, in the historic centre of Dokkum and adjacent to one of the City's picuresque canals.
All types of visitors to Dokkum can be catered for: holidaymakers, travellers to the Frisian islands of Ameland and Schiermonnikoog, group trips, business travellers and even honeymooners.
Children are always very welcome at the Hotel.
Our motto is simple:
"if asked, everything is possible"
The hotel has 34 rooms, including two family rooms for 3 or 4 persons. The rooms are very comfortable and each has en suite facilities and cable television.
The Hotel also has a bridal suite with whirlpool bath.
Bicycles are also available for rent from the local bicycle store.
Extensive parking is available 300m from the Hotel at a cost of € 1,00 per day. Tickets can be purchased at the Hotel .
